About Jack King:

Jack King opened his gym in 1976 in Winston-Salem and trained and shepherded many in the ways of personal growth as well as physical growth. He was a powerlifter turned natural bodybuilder and was very influential in the natural bodybuilding community. He competed through his 60’s before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He passed away a few years ago, but his gym is still open, run by Greg Jessup and Jerry Martin who were under his personal tutelage throughout the years. The members there continue to keep the spirit of comradery alive. This event is to honor him by carrying out his legacy of natural bodybuilding and fitness as a lifestyle.

 

About this event:

We anticipate this event to draw around 75 competitors and 300 spectators. Space is located directly outside the theatre entrance to promote and sell products and services. The venue can be accessed after 8:00 AM on the day of the event. Prejudging begins at 10:30 am and will operate in a straight-through format (i.e.; a brief intermission between prejudging and finals).

• You may (but not required) have a vendor table set up at the show to sell or market your product or service. (Table will be provided)

• Space in the lobby in a visible location for a banner stand. This will be included in photographs taken by spectators and our professional photographer. Many of these photos are then shared on social media!

• Direct insertion of your marketing materials into all competitor goody bags. These are distributed during competitor check in to registered athletes. Athletes the content and share it on social media.

• Full-page ad printed in the event program, which will be given to ticketed spectators.
